This class is designed for young adults 16+

A small group allows for less distraction and builds the individual and group connection that is essential to De Colores Arts.

Wednesday, 11am - 3pm PST

The first portion of the session includes interactive activities through improvisational skills and music, rehearsing skills and interactions that support social and life-skills. From 2-3pm students will be guided through therapeutic and appropriate yoga movements to support healthy body awareness and movement skills

Thursday, 9:30am -1:30pm

Friday 9:30am - 1pm PST

Experience visual arts projects, with incorporated yoga, stretching, and body movement to support body and mind integration. Additionally there is a weekly Thursday hybrid component from 10:30am - 11:30 where our in person and virtual communities connect for shared art project and social check ins. Finally, each day includes a community walk where we explore our neighborhoods.

Saturday, 9:30 am - 1:30 pm PST

Experimental art with emphasis on drawing, painting, sculpting, puppetry, puppet making, and crafting. Exploration of the creative language is limited to only your imagination and your ability to open up your mind. All levels are welcome. A safe place to explore your inner artist without judgment or critique.

2nd Saturday: Class will integrate with Sweetwater Spectrum residents on-site at Sweetwater.
